BIO

L.T. Martinez is a performing artist, arts educator, and advocate for the creative workforce.

A Southern California local and Native from Whittier, CA, L.T. has a deeply rooted passion for live music and film production, in addition to a not-so-secret affinity for pointing and/or flexing his toes.

In 2021, L.T. was selected to be a part of the Western States Arts Federation's Emerging Leaders of Color program, his first foray into the world of arts policy and administration. In June 2022, he and the Troubadour Theatre Company were awarded Best Choreography by the L.A. Drama Critics Circle for their production of "LIZASTRATA!" which was co-produced by the Getty Villa in Malibu, CA.

L.T. became an alumnus of the Stunt Boot Camp and Advanced Camp at L.A. Stunts Training Center (now The Action Collective) in September 2022, under the guidance of stunt coordinators and performers Michael Long, Sarah Ekstrand, and Nathan Moore.

Currently, L.T. serves as the Executive Liaison at CA for the Arts, California's statewide advocacy organization and network. He also shares his industry experience as a Teaching Artist in the Commercial Dance Conservatory at Orange County School of the Arts. Check out L.T.'s Artist CV HERE!
